The 17-year-old boy allegedly got into an argument with the 27-year-old victim that turned physical at the Family Dollar at 5009 Ritchie Highway around 6 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, according to Anne Arundel County police.
During the fight, the teen allegedly pulled out a knife and swung it at the victim. The victim then tried to run away, and the teen suspect reportedly chased him with the weapon.
The victim was able to run away from the suspect without being cut or stabbed by the suspect. Police arrived and arrested the 17-year-old boy and charged him accordingly.
